Supercharged Mocha Latte
Enjoying a warm cappuccino or a mocha latte is one of my favourite things in the world, I mean think about it:
cold day + a super frothy mocha latte [chocolate and coffee🤤] + a great book + the coziest blanket you own = HEAVEN
And the best part in this scenario [yes there’s even a better part] is that I always try to add a spike of health to everything I like… I mean that way I have an excuse [not that I need one🙄] to enjoy my guilty pleasures as often as I can.
When I created this recipe I had 2 goals in my mind: one, to warm up because I was freezing, my hands were literally purple; two I needed an energy boost because I was going downhill at that point, and I had a lot of writing ahead of me.
And of course I’m always talking about achieving glowing skin one way or the other, and this recipe wasn’t the exception.
However the result I got was better than expected: I created a mocha latte that not only boosts your energy and helps you achieve glowing skin, but that it also promotes fat burn [especially good for people like me that are sitting in front of a computer more than 6 hours], boosts your mood and decreases stress [yeah baby, no more Godzilla vibes🦖]!
So you are probably thinking… ok this sounds U-N-R-E-A-L-, but check this out….
With the supercharged mocha latte you will:
- Boost your energy thanks to the espresso shot, the maple syrup and the maca powder [plus maca is an aphrodisiac… just sayin’ 🤫].
- Promote healthier looking skin thanks to the hydrolyzed collagen and the antiseptic qualities found in coconut oil. Plus collagen promotes longer and healthier hair and nails [BONUS].
- Boost your mood  [literally you feel happier] thanks to the effect of raw cacao powder in our serotonin levels [our happiness hormone] and the maca powder that helps balance your hormones. Â
- Increase fat burn: thanks to the combination of fatty acids in the coconut oil that has a powerful effect a in the metabolism. At the same time those fatty acids aka medium chain triglycerides give a sensation of satiety, keeping you full for longer periods of time [hello weight loss].

How to make it:
INGREDIENTS YOU NEED:
- 1 espresso shot
- 1 tsp organic raw cacao powder
- 2 tsp organic maple syrup
- ½ cup coconut milk [you can use any milk you want]
- ½ tsp organic coconut oil
- ¼  tsp organic maca powder
- 1 tsp hydrolyzed collagen
INSTRUCTIONS
- Blend all the ingredients together in a small pot.
- Warm in the stove for 5 minutes at low heat.
- Use a whisk or add to the blender to make it super foamy.
- Heat it for 2 more minutes at medium heat.
- Serve in your favourite mug!
- You can top it with unsweetened shaved coconut or cinnamon!
